Position Overview:
The Agricultural Service Technician is a highly skilled professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining modern agricultural equipment. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who can work independently, handle complex repairs, and take pride in delivering dependable, high-quality service that keeps customers productive during critical seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
- Perform advanced service work on tractors, combines, planting, tillage, hay, and application equipment.
- Utilize OEM diagnostic software, service tools, and technical manuals.
- Perform field service repairs efficiently and professionally.
- Accurately document labor, parts, and repair details on work orders and warranty claims.
- Stay current with product updates, service bulletins, and technical training.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an agricultural, heavy equipment, or diesel service technician.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Proven ability to diagnose complex issues with minimal supervision.
- Experience using OEM diagnostic software and service documentation.
- Solid understanding of diesel engines and modern agricultural technology.
- Valid driver’s license.
